Chamber Committees

Chamber programs and events are driven by member volunteers. Listed below are the current Chamber Committees. If you are a Chamber member and are interested in joining a committee, send us an email with your contact information and the Committee you would like to join and the Chamber office will contact you.

Economic Development: The Economic Development Committee serves as a liaison to Carson area government and community agencies and organizations to support ecomic developmet consistent with Chamber’s mission.

Committe Chair: Michael Stewart, M& B Associates

Leadership Carson: The Leadership Carson Committee is responsible for implementing the Leadership Carson Program which enables participants to develop personal leadership skills while introducing and explaining important aspects of local government, community organizations and educatinal institutions in the Carson area.

Committee Chair: ​Kubilay (Kubi) Karul, SA Recycling

Government Affairs: This committee shall review those issues emanating from the public or government that are of concern to the business community, and shall recommend to the Board of Directors positions for the Chamber to take on each issue. The Committee shall be responsible for the preparation and dissemination of public pronouncements and information.

Committee Chair: Trini Jimenez, Watson Land Company

Strategic Inititives:  This committee is responsible for proactively identifying and responding to new initiatives that promote the growth of the Chamber consistant with it’s mission.

Committee Chair: Tamala Lewis, Dignity Health Sports Park

Special Events:  This committee is responsible for implementing all chamber events proposed by the Executivce Committee.
