A Message from the Board Chair

Dear Members:

Our Inaugural Luncheon will be coming up soon. The topic will be "The Voice of Business" Warren Furutani will be our speaker. Make sure to be there. Also, get Ready for a great Quarterly Breakfast in September. We are hoping to have a great topic for you all. Special Events is working hard to bring you some of the best speakers and keep you in the know. The date is set for Septemeber 16th 2010. Mark Your calendar for this Date. So get Ready! We are calling all of our members and guests to bring their friends, family, and working staff. Make sure to reserve your seating now and tell a friends and all of your business associates about the great things the chamber is doing. Our board members, staff, sponsors and supporters are out in full force to make each and every event fun, informative and successful. Please look for details in the mail and e-news! Sign Up for our text messaging event notices by texting to carsonchamber 37398. We hold each and every event dear to our hearts. We expect great things this year within the Carson Chamber of Commerce. Remember to bring your networking materials to all of the Quarterly Breakfasts. In spite of present economy, together, we are staying positive and upbeat. Check out our website and look for our emails with all the details on our events as well as other information in keeping you informed of important business matters vital to you, our members and guests. The Carson Chamber of Commerce is working hard to provide information and useful programs for our members. We are strong in business advocacy and we promote business progress. We also notify our members with issues that may affect them. Our staff and Legislative committee is busy with keeping up with what is going in local, state and federal legislative agenda. The Executive Board and the Board of Directors along with various committees are facilitating new territory to setting new goals, increase our mission objectives.

We are encouraging all members to attend the chamber's events scheduled throughout the year. Please call the Chamber Office for times and locations or visit our website. Meeting one another and exploring new possibilities is what we do best and it is what we are about.

Let us know how we can serve you better and improve all aspects of our goals as we set a new agenda to better our vision and mission. We encouraged our membership input and we look forward to a prosperous 2010-2011. We are encouraging our Chamber members take an active part in any or all of our events and projects and committees. With everyone's involvement we can make Carson an even better place to live and do business.
