A Message from the Board Chair

Dear Members:

Our Fashion Show and Luncheon was a great success. We are grateful to our Sponsors, Models, and In-Kind contributions that made it such a success. We also give a shout to the Planning Committee for a job well done as well as our volunteers that make it possible to make each and every event a success. Our June Breakfast is right around the corner. Remember to bring your business cards, raffle prizes. We will be getting ready to install our new officers at our Inaugural Installation Luncheon. We will keep you posted on the time and the location. We hold these events each year dear to our hearts in celebrating with our members and guests. Remember to bring your networking materials to all of the the Quarterly Breakfasts. In spite of present economy, let us together make this year a positive, and upbeat year for us all. Check out our website and look for our emails with all the details on our events as well as information in keeping you informed of important business matters vital to you, our members. The Carson Chamber of Commerce is working hard to provide information and useful programs for our members. We are strong in business advocacy and we promote business progress. We also notify our members with issues that may affect them. Our staff and Legislative committee is busy with keeping up with what is going in local, state and federal legislative agenda. The Executive Board and the Board of Directors along with various committees are facilitating new territory to setting new goals, increase our mission objectives.

We are encouraging all members to attend the chamber's events scheduled throughout the year. Please call the Chamber Office for times and locations or visit our website. Meeting one another and exploring new possibilities is what we do best and it is what we are about.

Let us know how we can serve you better and improve all aspects of our goals as we set a new agenda to better our vision and mission. We encouraged our membership input and we look forward to a prosperous 2008-2009. We are encouraging our Chamber members take an active part in any or all of our events and projects and committees. With everyone's involvement we can make Carson an even better place to live and do business.
